Adidas has released its third football boot brand – modelled on arguably the world’s best player, Lionel Messi, after scrapping most of its established boots earlier this month.

Last week’s launches, the Ace and X ranges, will now be accompanied by the Messi15, for those looking to replicate the Argentinian’s fleet footwork.

Adidas, which sponsors some of the best footballers in the world including Messi, Xavi, Rodríguez, De Rossi, Bale, Robben, Müller, Ozil, Schweinsteiger and many more, stated that the boots were designed in collaboration with the Barcelona FC forward.

The Messi15s will be debuted during the Champions League final in Berlin Saturday 6 June in Barcelona’s battle with Italian side Juventus - worn by the man himself.

The firm also shared the new boots via its social channels.
